The International Journal of Fundamental Physical Sciences (IJFPS) is a multidisciplinary, quarterly, peer-reviewed, open-access journal devoted to research in fundamental and applied physical sciences.

Founded in 2009 and publishing since 2010, IJFPS provides an international platform for original research articles, review papers, and theoretical studies in English. The journal welcomes scientifically rigorous contributions presenting meaningful ideas, methods, results, or applications relevant to physical science.

Focus and Scope

IJFPS welcomes contributions in applied physics; astronomy and astrophysics; atmospheric physics; atomic and nuclear physics; biophysics; chemistry; cosmology; engineering sciences; geology and geophysics; gravitation; history of astronomy; materials science; mathematics and mathematical physics; mechanics; optics and lasers; plasma physics; quantum mechanics; radiation physics; relativity; remote sensing and GIS; solid-state physics; spectroscopy; theoretical physics; and thermodynamics.

Interdisciplinary manuscripts are welcome when they demonstrate a clear relationship to the journal’s scope and provide a substantive contribution to physical science or its applications.

Peer Review and Editorial Oversight

All suitable submissions undergo single-blind peer review, in which reviewer identities remain confidential while author identities are known. The process is supervised by the Editor-in-Chief and the international editorial board.

Manuscripts are evaluated according to:

• originality and scientific significance;
• methodological soundness and reproducibility;
• accuracy of analysis and interpretation;
• clarity and quality of presentation;
• relevance to the journal’s scope; and
• compliance with publication-ethics requirements.

Editorial and reviewer comments are intended to help authors strengthen their manuscripts. Acceptance is determined exclusively through editorial assessment and peer review and is not guaranteed.

Open Access, Copyright, and Licensing

IJFPS is an open-access journal. Published articles are freely available online without subscription or access charges. Authors retain copyright in their published work.

Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution–NonCommercial 4.0 International licence (CC BY-NC 4.0). This licence permits sharing and adaptation for noncommercial purposes, provided that appropriate credit is given, a link to the licence is provided, and any changes are indicated.

Article Processing Charge

IJFPS is a self-financed open-access journal. An Article Processing Charge of EUR 320 applies only after a manuscript has been formally accepted for publication.

No payment is required for initial submission or peer-review consideration. Payment of the APC does not influence editorial assessment, peer review, or the decision to accept or reject a manuscript. Applicable bank or transfer charges are the responsibility of the author.

Publication, DOI Registration, and Discoverability

IJFPS is published exclusively online and releases quarterly issues. Every accepted and published article is assigned a persistent Digital Object Identifier registered through Crossref under the journal DOI prefix 10.14331/ijfps.

Article metadata are deposited with Crossref following publication. Structured article pages, metadata, and sitemaps support discovery by scholarly search engines, academic libraries, and research-discovery services. Inclusion and indexing times are determined independently by each external service.

IJFPS maintains digital copies and backups of published content. Crossref-registered DOIs provide persistent identification and reliable linking; DOI registration alone does not constitute full-text preservation.

Publication Ethics and Originality

Submitted manuscripts must be original, must not have been published previously, and must not be under simultaneous consideration by another journal.

IJFPS follows established principles of responsible scholarly publishing and guidance provided by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Manuscripts may be screened for plagiarism, inappropriate duplication, authorship concerns, data-integrity problems, undisclosed conflicts of interest, and other ethical issues. Where necessary, the journal may publish corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions.

Artificial Intelligence Use

Authors must disclose any substantive use of artificial intelligence tools in drafting text, generating or modifying code, analysing data, producing images, or conducting other parts of the research. Artificial intelligence systems cannot be listed as authors. Human authors remain fully responsible for the originality, accuracy, and integrity of submitted content.

Authorship, Conflicts of Interest, Funding, and ORCID

All listed authors must have made a meaningful contribution and must approve the submitted and final versions of the manuscript. Contributor roles based on the CRediT Contributor Role Taxonomy may be requested.

Authors must disclose relevant conflicts of interest, financial or institutional support, and individual author contributions.

Corresponding authors are encouraged to provide an ORCID iD to support accurate and persistent identification.
