    <abstract>This study investigates the application of geotextiles in reinforcing sand embankments, using numerical simulations performed in PLAXIS. The embankment model is set on a soft clay layer and analyzed with respect to changes in slope, crown width, and height. The Mohr-Coulomb elasto-plastic model was used for simulation, considering soil nonlinearity. Sensitivity analysis shows that increasing the embankment’s slope, width, and height linearly increases maximum settlement. These findings underline the importance of geometric parameters in designing stable geotextile-reinforced structures.</abstract>
