Abstract

The general solution of a static sphere of perfect fluid of uniform density using isotropic line element has been obtained by using the additional condition of continuity at the boundary r = a. It is shown that this solution is a solution of Wyman's equation with an additional integrating constant. If continuity at r = a is not applied, p → 0 as k² → ∞ using Wyman’s equation, leading to a dust solution. The anomalies in the static fluid model can be resolved with a new proposed field equation, which also supports Newtonian approximation.
